MEETING WITH A REPRESENTATIVE OF “THOMSON REUTERS” COMPANY FOR CIS.

On July 5, 2017, a meeting was held, in the Conference Hall of The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for assistance to privatized enterprises and development of competition, with participation of the State Committee for competition, the Center for Coordination and Development of Securities Market, the State Investment Committee, "Toshkent" RSE, Central depository for securities, professional participants of the securities market as well as a Head of the Business Development unit of "Thomson Reuters" company for the CIS - Mr. A. Aukhariev and other representatives.

Mr. A. Aukhariev made a presentation and gave a comprehensive speech regarding the advantages and opportunities of the software system called "Thomson Reuters Eikon" which is appealing and convenient to use for potential investors, as well as for different countries and issuers of securities.

Furthermore, during the presentation, the opportunities for further strengthening the cooperation between "Toshkent" RSE and "Thomson Reuters" were discussed in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding dated on May 10, 2016.

At the end of the meeting, the honorary guests thanked the organizers of the meeting for the warm welcome and expressed their interest for further close cooperation of the parties towards the development of the securities market and attraction of foreign investment to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
