On May 28, 2019, Tashkent hosted the second “Town Hall meeting” organized by the Capital Market Development Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, devoted to the discussion of the Strategy for the Development of the Capital Market of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2025.
The guests of this event were representatives of banks, insurance and brokerage organizations, issuers, as well as representatives of other companies interested in developing the capital market.
Director of the Agency Atabek Nazirov acquainted those present with the current architecture of the financial system in Uzbekistan and shared a conceptual vision of the capital market development strategy.
In addition, the heads of departments informed the guests of the event about the work done by the Agency in the area of legislative initiatives, licensing, supervision of the activities of market participants and international cooperation, and answered questions from the audience.
